Julia123, I see you too use OS 10.6.8, so how's this working for you?
Anyone else, works ok?

Who knows for sure? I wrote Cameron and suggested he might want to tackle Faderport at some point. Don't know if he will or not.

I was hoping Faderport would get on board, but I have given up and need to move on. I hate that too, because I really liked the design much better. But, I need something that works and my Faderport is nothing more than a paperweight right now.

I’d pay 300 for an update to AVID artist mix!! It works but could work better.
To be able to automate plug ins properly would be a god send.

+1, TDH. I'd love it if we could make the infernal things really usable!

I dealt with AVID on the issues for awhile, and they supposedly spoke with MOTU. Then I contacted MOTU and created support tickets, and, as is typical in these type of matters, poof...nothing happened.
I followed up on support tickets but poof, nothing.
We need our OWN DP programmer.
As has been shown with Alpha track, look how quickly things can get fixed???
OMG....
This shows my lack of patience with these companies to be fully warranted over the yrs.
These things CAN be fixed quickly if a programmer would just do as NIKE say--“JUST DO IT”.

Part of why it was easier is I believe Cameron was referred by someone at Frontier and he had already done some coding work related to that device. Don't know what would be involved to fix issues related to other devices.

OK, could be that I over simplify. But there have been issues around for years and still, I just don’t buy excuses. I think you guys have done a great thing here that should serve as an example of refusing to accept excuses.
Only, we don;t even GET to hear excuses from companies.
We hear NOTHING.
Perhaps an “excuse” would be refreshing?

Dunno. Heck, I hate to read forums anymore because if I took them seriously I'd assume every piece of software sucked and was unusable.
