Yeah, I guess I do not really understand formulated his question, but I wanted this ...
I need to quickly change the MIDI transpose parties and I would like to change the transposition (+ -12 or + -24) using the fader MIDI controller ... This is possible in the DP?

I stll have no idea of what you want to do :?

If you want a decent answer the least you can do is ask a decently formulated question...

MIDI PARTIES? What are those?

Let's MIDI party!! :)

DP can party just fine, I assure you. It's a party animal :unicorn:

I think he wants to set up some sort of controller that will determine the size of a MIDI transpose in real time. Maybe a custom console would do it. Nicky?

Parties=Parts?

Thank bayswater!
That's what I mean ...

Please forgive me for my English (Google translates it)))

Yes, Baysey, I've a feeling there'd be some sort of knob or slider option in a Console.

Superpelmen, create a Console in DP and explore it.

'Nandito, the OP's constructions display all the hallmarks of translation software, although it's not as bad as I might have expected. If this person is not an English speaker, he / she's got more guts than I have as I've never posted in a foreign language. Just a thought, although I could very well be completely wrong about this...

Hope you're still well, mate... since, what, yesterday? I'm such a Silly Billy.

EDIT: Posts crossed. I see now I was on target.

Superpelmen, create a Console and try it. It's easy.

I don't know how to do this directly with DP commands. Custom Consoles is the only possibility I can think of. As Monkey Man said, you could try making one and explore the possibilities. They are not difficult to create.

See Chapter 53 of the manual. One of the examples of Custom Console uses listed is "Modify velocities of notes as you play back", so that seems the best place to start.

What's wrong with using the Real Time MIDI Transpose plugin? You can change it on the fly, just not using controllers.

It may be possible to do this with Custom Consoles. It's been a while since I've made one, so I don't remember if MIDI transpose is one of the variables. But it's easy to find out. Just go try it. If it turns out to be possible, then you would be able to use a Continuous Controller to change it. (using a fader, knob, pedal, or whatever)

^This
It takes maybe 5 or 10 minutes fumbling around the Console window and RTFM but it's not THAT hard to learn your way around it. People seem intimidated about it at times. It's good to know the possibilities so when the need arises it springs to mind and isn't intimidating.

OTOH it would be way nice though if you could easily assign a MIDI controller to parameters in the MIDI Transpose plug-in (and the other plug-ins like the Arpeggiator,Delay etc). I wish MOTU would revamp those MIDI plugs and spiff 'em up for the 2010's- both GUI/options and MIDI controllability.

100% agreement on this end, Phil. They'd be a couple o' afternoons' work for folks with the appropriate talents, you'd think.

Hey, I see you're still here mate. Great! Hope you're well.

You too my brother. Fires and smoke all around us here, but it's on-and-off raining as I type this.

Oh man, I heard about the drama. Glad you're going to "escape" it, man.

I see you've started a thread for that idea. Good move; it's obviously more likely to be noticed that way.

The manual gives MIDI Transpose as an example of a custom console application.

Ridiculous. What're you lookin' at the manual for, Baysey? I mean, what were you hoping to achieve, yer nanger?

OK, so you got lucky... this time...
