Is removing a track from a V-Racks possible?

Post by ironchef_marc »

I've moved all my VE-PRO plugins track to a single V-Rack. Now I realize I'd like to split them differently. I was hoping to simply duplicate the chunk and and edit the V-Rack but can't seem to find a way to do this. I also thought I could move all the plugins back to non V-Rack but can't see that option possible either.

I'd appreciate any tips.

thanks

You can temporarily move your tracks in a V-rack to the TO and do track operations there. Then you could port them back to the V-Rack.

You can also delete tracks directly from the V-Rack.

And you can also duplicate the V-Rack chunk and delete tracks as needed

Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

How do you do that?

I just discovered the "delete track" at the very bottom of the channel strip, that little arrow, then you scroll all the way down. Well hidden!

How do you do that?
Simply drag the V-Rack and drop it in the left part of a TO window.

Thanks man! I didn't know that and couldn't find anything about it in the manual. You saved me a couple hours!
