I have a project that was working great last night. Left the project up and went to work on it this morning and found a note that my primary hard drive was full. and computer was locked.

I had my project on an external drive. I restarted my computer and deleted a crap load of old files from the primary and freed up about 90 GB.

I reopened the project and now none of my busses are passing audio.

If I reset the tracks to my main outs everything is there and audible, but when I resect outputs to busses, the audio is not present in the received group track, indicated by meters .

Example. All drum tracks or rhythm guitars going to a single stereo group track. Indicators no audible audio.

I have repaired permissions, restarted, reopened project several times but no change.

Any suggestions?

I check my bundles window and everything appears to be ok there also.

I don't know what's the deal is with busses. Every once in a great while I'll have a buss that won't pass audio. The fix seems to be to delete the bus and re-create it. No rhyme or reason to it. It's only happened to me maybe three or four times ever. But I have seen this. I have no idea what causes it.

I'll give it a try. small aggravation but if that fixes it, it will be cool. I keep a notebook of all my assigned busses as they can get confusing at times.

I think there was a recent post where someone quit Safari and got the bus audio back. I know, crazy. I'll try to find that later.

I just deleted my busses and tried to recreate a few. The thing that I now notice is that the track sends work going to an aux track such as for verb ,etc. but if I use a bus to send from track output to the input of another trance does not work. I have input selected also on the receiving track as is supposed to do but still no go.

I found out what is happening is that my input button was not function correctly.

I opened a track and plugged a guitar and was not able to hear the audio but it was indicating on the audio monitor that it was coming in. I recorded a little and it is recording audio information and am able to play it back.

I checked my ado preferences in the studio and found that it had reset to input monitor through hardware. Reset to input through effects. Fixed it. Crazy.

Now I have to rebuild my bundles.

At least the project was not messed up.
