Mixer Faders Glitching

I'm getting a glitch where the mixer fader basically doesn't do anything. It's an on/off glitch but during playback if I move any fader (on a MIDI track) the audio for that track just completely cuts out (until I stop playback) and until I quit DP and reload it again the fader does nothing. I can put it to zero but the track still plays as if it was at the top... any ideas?
