Dp 8 lets MachFive-3 use all my 16 gigs of ram

I upgraded to DP 8 so that I could use most of my 16 gigs of ram for MachFive-3 as a plugin. Before the upgrade arrived I figured out that I could run MachFive-3 as a stand alone in 64 bit mode and trigger it with MIDI inter application. Problem solved, maybe.
DP 8 arrives and I find out that my favourite organ instrument plugin (VB3) won't run in 64 bit mode. Back to the drawing board but wait.....
I have found a work around.
1: I open DP8 in 64 bit mode so that MachFive-3 as a plugin can access my 16 gigs of ram (the whole reason I upgraded to DP 8 in the first place).
2: I open DP 7.24 with VB3 running.
3: I use the MIDI inter application capability to trigger DP 7.24 from within DP8.
4: I connect my SPDIF Out on my interface to my SPDIF In.
5: In Dp 7.24 I send the VB3 output to SPDIF and
6: Open a stereo audio track inside DP 8 with it's input from SPDIF
It's not pretty but I hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.
