Is there a shortcut to deleting loads of velocity marks? I want to redo a phrase and there has to be a better way than manually doing it all!
Just a highlight and 'delete vel marks' button? Or an 'overwrite existing marks' function?
Cheers!

Deleting velocity marks? That means deleting notes. To delete a velocity mark requires that you delete the note to which it is attached. Velocities and notes are like conjoined twins; they just don't come apart. Maybe you're talking about a continuous controller like CC#11, which is Expression, or CC#7, which is Volume.
Or maybe you're talking about reshaping a phrase by editing all the velocities. Whatever you're asking, it can be done easily in DP. Familiarize yourself with the Reshape Tool, and/or the Pencil Tool.

There are other tools as well. You might want to read this post from the Tips Sheet thread on how to use the drawing and reshaping tools in DP more effectively:
Working with Control and Automation Points in DP
The pictures are a little out of date, but the tools haven't changed much since the article was written.
