MOTU Audio Express - Reamping help needed (w/ Kemper/Cubase)

First of all "hi!" - first post here 
I'm trying to use the Motu Audio Express for reamping through the Kemper Profiling Amp via Cubase.
I've done this with my previous M-Audio FW card but been unsuccessful with the Motu.
Current set-up:
1. DI guitar signal in Cubase sent to Output 3
2. Cable connected from Motu's output 3(left line out) to Kemper input
3. Cable connected from Kemper output to Motu Input
4. 2nd track recording Motu input in Cubase
result: hell of a lot of squaling and no guitar
I'm quite confident that the settings in Cubase are correct because it has worked before. Therefore what am I doing wrong with the Motu?
Perhaps someone can provide a screenshot of their CueMix.
