My MIDI connection from Yamaha P155 to my 828 mk3 has died, and so I want to reset my 828 and on p44 under the heading 'Factory defaults' my manual says :
"Push VALUE to restore the 828 mk3 hardware to its factory default settings. Push VALUE again to confirm, or turn PARAM to cancel."
I wish. When I do this nothing happens ?

Are you selecting factory defaults with the param knob first?
