When working in the DP, it makes sense to put in a RAM DISK except the DP and DP Projects? Maybe something from the system files? Thanks

RAM disks are pretty much obsolete since the advent of USB and FireWire. Now with SATA, eSATA, and digital drive storage, you really don't need a RAM disk. There are better things to use RAM for especially with DP in 64 bit mode.

Actually, I've been running video from a RAM disk on my last few projects (DP7.24). Very fast, and better performance than streaming from any HD with any protocol. Just remember that it is volatile storage. If RAM is an issue, then a dedicated SATA drive is best option. Then there's SSD, but personally I wouldn't spend the $

Thank you! I have 16 GB RAM and I think that would be enough for me to work with the DP in RAM DISK no SSD drive )))
