Enabling sends on a V-Rack

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a bus send on a V-Rack? For instance I'd like to route a selection of V-Racks to one reverb. I can't use the individual V-Rack outputs in this situation.

When I create a V Rack in DP7.24, I get two sends, ready to assign anywhere I want. Perhaps there's a preference to increase the number of sends if you need them, but looks like at least two are available by default in the same place you'd find them on a normal audio track. Hope this helps.

Looks like only two are available in the V-rack. You can have 20 aux sends per channel in the sequence but I haven't found a way to increase that number from 2 in the V-rack.

You can set the number of sends in a v-rack the same way you set them in any mixer window mini menu. Goes up to 20.

bayswater is right and I also think you won't need sends since you can add aux tracks to a v-rack too. In that case you can just bus all of your VI's to an aux track with effects in the v-rack. I think the trick to both of these solutions is to open the v-rack in it's own mixer window. Then when you add a track or change the number of sends it applies to the v-rack in the window and not the main sequence.

Aux tracks make good return tracks from the V-Rack. Unless you want your sends to be the same for every chunk that uses the V-Rack, the Aux makes sense to use for the sends. But sends are just as usable in the V-Rack as elsewhere, as others have pointed out.

By the way, in case you haven't seen it in the prefs, you can view your V-Rack in the same mixing board with the Sequence Tracks. Or, if you prefer, you can just use the key-command to access the V-Rack. I leave mine open all the time alongside my sequence tracks.
