Can't Get Slate Virtual Tape Machine Demo To Load In DP 7.24

Hi,

I've been trying everything I can think of to load Slate Digital's Virtual Tape Machine demo into my system, but to no avail. I'm running DP 7.24 on a Mac w/OS 10.8.2. The machine is a iMac 3.2 GHz Intel, and my iLok2 account is current. I've installed and reinstalled, have repaired permissions via the disk utility, what am I missing?
Also FWIW, I purchased Virtual Console Collection earlier this year and installed it with absolutely no problems.

Thanks in advance for any insights.
-Peter

Try this:
Delete the Audio Unit Cache and let DP run through all the plugins again.

Thanks for the suggestion, Radiogal. That didn't quite solve it, but what it did do was jog my brain and send me down the right path to figuring it out. All is well now.

Cheers!

Please share what you came up with and how you solved this. It´s of high value for all members on a board like Motunation.

It's mind-numbingly simple in retrospect, but here goes: in DP i went to Preferences/General/Audio Plug-ins and then scanned my list of plugs to see which ones had passed. Sure enough, VTM was one that hadn't passed. I clicked on "reexamine" and that took care of it: the plug passed and then loaded upon rebooting the program.
