MachFive 3 on a MacBook Air and other questions . . .

Howdy all,
I've been a user of MachFive 2 for years and am thinking of upgrading to 3. I've heard a lot of talk about it's intensive memory use and was wondering if anybody could give me some feedback about running it on a new MacBook Air 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with 4 GBs of RAM. I'm using it live so I'm wary of running it if it won't be up to snuff. I plan on using it stand alone or with Logic Mainstage that's also running Omnishpere. The MachFive 2 worked pretty well except sometimes it would pop and crash the sound output, requiring a reboot. Here's some questions I have. (Thanks for your time).
1. Does the MachFive 3 have a way to turn off CPU intense functions?
2. Does it have that crazy absolute path for loading and saving samples? (That drives me crazy when moving stuff from my main computer to the gig) computer).
3. Will a MacBook Air 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor be able to handle MachFive 3?
4. Is the new interface a lot easier to see?
Thanks in advance!,
Tony
