Hello,

i'm having difficulties trying to connect a Kawai r100 and adding the analog channels in the mixer, if at all possible?

i connected my Motu on my aplifier with the two main outs, i connected my Kawai with two individual outputs (bd and sd) on two analog inputs on the Motu. I now would expect two extra channels in my mixer, but they are not there.

When hitting the pads i do here the sounds, but no action in the mixer in cubase.. am i completely on the wrong path by thinking i would get extra channels? or am i doing something wrong?

How do i get my two active analog motu channels visible in the cubase mixer, my motu is connect with firewire two my computer.

First, you have to add a new audio track for the inputs as in the screenshot.

In the screenshot, you see the speaker icon I highlighted in yellow on the mixer screen?

You have to press that for the mixer to react to sounds. When it is not pressed, the mixer won't do anything, even when you hear the sound.

Hey, thanks for your reply it was useful sort of. When i create the MIDI track for my drumcomputer, i created an extra audio track with the setting you mentioned, it did not work. I had to set the stereo in on mono in instead and now it reacted. When i try to alter the equalizer it doesn't pick up the changes.. you have any idea why this is?
