Can DP Split wav files on import?

Hi

can DP split a stereo wav file on imprt to 2 mono tracks?

in cubase i work on "background tracks" for a band that uses them live

i put the click and count in on the left and the mixed down music on the right

sometimes though i need to go back in and add stuff to the music. in cubase when i drag the stereo wav file in to a track it will ask me if i want to split the track into 2 mono tracks, i say yes and bam, click and count in is on the first track and music on the second track

that way i can easily add music and build a new stereo wav file with click on left and music on right

how does DP do this?

Yes but not on import (if it can, I don't know how).

You can split them after you have imported them.
