ADAT LightPipe pass-through

Trying to get to all 24 tracks on 2408mkII. Here's the approach:

2408's analog in from direct out of the board, that part is pretty easy. I have an Alesis ADAT and a Tascam DA-88. What I would like to do is use the ADAT as an analog to LightPipe ADC and the DA-88 as an analog to TDIF ADC. What I need to know is how to make the ADAT and the DA-88 basically act as stand-alone DACs for 16 of the 24-channels.

TNX!

Put them into Input Monitoring mode? I haven't had or used an ADAT for a long time...

By the way, ADATs (and maybe DA88's too) make a pretty cool variable speed clock for the times you really need one.
