I use to be able to do this!
This is the error message I get:
Digital Performer has encountered an error
Mas 1, error reported by Quicktime Export plugin
[-2015]

Do I need QT Pro?
My Quicktime Player says version 10!
I downloaded Quicktime pro 7.6.6 but it won't install!!
Arggh, one of those mornings I guess. :banghead:

Maybe call MOTU (have people stopped doing that?) or reinstall DP.

I get the same error.

Could it be because the original movie is not a .mov but is a mp4?

Well I converted to MP4 movie to a .mov using imovie.
Then using the resulting movie in DP everything now works fine!
:D :woohoo:

I was having the same problem. Turns out that if I didn't hit "save" before bouncing it wouldn't bounce. Hitting "save" then bouncing has been working for me since. Hope this helps someone.

QT 7.5 pro saving the movie ( mp4 that I received ) results in
...could not be saved, movie contains an incorrect time value.
The mp4 came from a Mac / Adobe rig

QT 7.5 pro
The only version that is supposed to work from OS 10.6 on is QT 7.6.6. This must be installed in your Utilities folder.
