How do I make a White Nose Sweep?

Despite using DP for years and years I've never needed to trigger MIDI events. I'm trying to create a "Trance" white noise sweep using PolySynth.
I have a 16 bar sustained note triggeing a white noise patch on PolySynth. Using the Sequence view I inserted Filter Rez markers using the pencil tool. I'm now getting no sound when the track is played back.
Please help!
Thanks,
Yavn

You'll want to sweep the filter cutoff, not the resonance. You can set the resonance where you want it, you can automate it too (which will control the amount of "whistle" in your sweep). But what you really want to do the actual sweep is the filter cut-off. Of course, you will need the MIDI note to sound the noise in the first place (but you know that).

Darn you spell check!
Actually I figured it out...did not have automation set to play.
Ok - Off to make a patch that sounds good. Anyone have good recomendations to a plugin they love?
