Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to record Mac internal audio with Motu 828 Mk2?
Thank You

Audio Hijack or Sunflower are easy to use. Unless there is some loop back feature in your audio device.

If you're on a Mac Pro, you can create a loop with the optical I/O. That's what I do. Just connect a light pipe from Out to In and set your sound output to "Built-in Digital Out" in Audio MIDI Setup. In DP, set your hardware setup to include Built-in Digital In. You're good to go. I have a template called "Digital Loop-back" that I use just for that purpose.

Errm, two things.
1. The Apple Support link does not lead to Apple but to a third-party Mac site.
2. It is highly rare to have three consecutive first-time posters respond to each other. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that.
It's just that such cryptic responses don't jibe with the simplicity of the question and its solution, especially when one is an alleged Mac specialist.

Hmm, oh wise Mr. Frodo. Your keen eye has raised some interesting questions. We'll see how this one pans out.

It all could be quite legit. I don't want to be unfair to our new members. But, while I want to be careful, I also want to be "careful", if you take my meaning.
Our three new members are welcome to come back for a constructive follow-up.
More to the issue-- it's a simple matter of going to System Preferences> Sound or to AudioMIDI to route audio to the appropriate drivers.
Then, there's that "dreaded" manual, yes? Routing audio to the proper drivers is the first order of business virtually on page 1.

Maybe they meant to be going for tuna, salmon, or striped bass? You know, that Long Island Sound...
I feel so... wet. (Guess that's better than dirty.)
