UA Neve 88R Plug in crashing DP**RESOLVED**(I think)

I've been having some instability in DP for quite awhile, through several updates. Recently I got to the point of DP crashing as soon as I pressed Play after opening a particular project. After spending lots of time on the phone with a very nice tech support person at DP (Nicole...Thanks!), it was narrowed down to the UA Neve 88R plug in. Disabling this plug in DP Preferences solved the problem. Unfortunately, I love this plugin : (
Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, is there a fix? (Couldn't get UA tech support on the phone)
Thanks!

Works well here as well, do you have the latest UAD version?
If not I'd install & see if that fixes.
Have you tried trashing AU components?
UAD tech support via a phone call is great if this isn't working, you probably should call them tomorrow

I use that one all the time with no problems whatsoever. Wish I could help, I wouldn't want to be without that plug in.

Thanks for the replies.
I completely uninstalled all UAD plugs and re-installed latest versions. No change.
Not sure if I trashed AU components, though. I will try that. Is that easy to locate?
Thanks again,
Chris

I hate to sound like a broken record but it works fine for me as well.

I think UA Tech Support has solved my problem. The issue got weirder as the "problem plug-in" mysteriously switched from the Neve 88Rs to the EMT 140. Tech Support had me change a few settings on the UA Console, which makes things a little less responsive, but much more stable (no crashes so far). They felt there must be a DSP bottleneck occurring somewhere. I have 22 gigs of ram, a Duo and a Quad UAD card, and this is not a huge mix, so it doesn't seem like this should be happening......but what do I know?
Anyway, good for now!
As always, thanks for the support.
Chris

Good news!
The consistent level of 1st rate tech support by UAD for me is what I wish other companies would aim for,imo they are among the best with support.
