motu devices Sysex Documentation

Hi.
Does someone know how can I get the sysex documentation for motu devices?
I own a 2408 / 24io but I´m planning to buy a 828 or a traveller.
It is imperative that I could control these devices with MIDI. i.e., volume, eq parameters, pan, etc, reverb parameters, I am a professional programmer, so it should not be too dificult to send the correct sysex messages or write a program to do so.
i know that i can do it with the infamous (and very, very old) mackie simulation, but it only control volue and pan and for motu pci device, it has to use cuemix, which unfortunately is a piece of software that uses about 40% of the computer cpu to do the work of controlling the pci devices.
What is strange is that, once the volumes are set and you close cue mix, the cpu use stops and the 424 card uses that series of volumes and routings to do the job. What i do not understand is why a program that simply orders the pci 424 to adjust settings should use so much cpu?
I recently bought tc-helicon´s voice live 2 and they kindly sent me the sysex manual (very technical) and now I can successfully control it using MIDI sysex messages for the parameters that are not controlled by simple cc messages.
Any help here would be much appreciated.
