Hello:
I recently bought an iPad 2. In addition
to using it as a control surface w/ DP,
I want to store all of my trade magazines
on the iPad and be able to read them
frequently.
Do I need an app for loading the digital
versions of various mags like, Keyboard,
EM on the iPad? Also, do I need an app
for reading this type of content on my iPad?
Thanks,
Tom

Have you looked at the NewsStand app? You should already have it.
http://www.apple.com/ipad/built-in-apps/newsstand.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I just don't know if your magazines work with it, but it's worth checking out.
I haven't been able to use it myself because I can only subscribe to magazines that are available in the Mexican iTunes store, and so far they only have crap, so my NewsStand remains empty

OK-thanks. So its not just a matter of loading my magazines onto the iPod
in digital form? Do I need an app to do this? Also, only magazines that are in the
app store are compatible with the iPod?I'm not very familiar with the process.
Thanks,
Tom

you might want to look at Zinio which has a lot of mags for subscription.
SoundonSound is coming out with it's own app.
For reading PDFs of things that you already have GoodReader is indispensible. In fact it is becoming an all-in-one solution for listening to audio and watching video also.

Yes, I've seen Zinio. That looks pretty good.Do you know when Sound on Sound is coming
out with their app? I subscribe to Sound on Sound so that would be great.
Thanks
