Hi there!

I have the following problem regarding Motu 896 mk3 and logic 9.
I am outputing all my tracks in Logic to Motu's Analog input 1-2,analog 2-3 and so on.As soon as i do that,I cant make my monitors to work.When i switch them to Stereo out its ok.
Any help?

Hi:
If I am reading this correctly, you are outputting tracks recorded in Logic to MOTU 896 inputs?
Impossible. That would create a feedback loop if your Logic input monitoring were turned on. You need to route the tracks to 896 OUTPUT pairs. ex. Analog 1-2, 3-4,5-6,7-8. etc.
And they are always stereo pairs.
Hope this helps......

yeap the syntax of the question was a bit hard to understand.
So i have 4 track lets say:
Drum
kick
snare
hats
I am outputing them to motu:
Drum ->output 1-2
Kick ->output 3-4
Snare->output 5-6
hats ->output 7-8
Of course doing this i want be able to hear from the monitors(stereout).
So i create 4 tracks in logic:
DrumIN
kickIN
snareIN
hatsIN
and assign them to
Drum ->input 1-2
Kick ->input 3-4
Snare->input 5-6
hats ->input 7-8
Does this work or make any difference?Should i enable any software monitoring option via cueFx.
(Dont be harsh with me

)

Why do you need to send them to separate outputs?
For whatever reason it is, the way your going about it will do nothing. Outputs don't correspond to inputs
