Need assistance! I have 2408 MK3 with PCIe-424 card and want this to work under 64-bit Windows 7. My computer is PC with Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 ver.2 mobo and i7-860. It does work under 32-bit XP.
Just found that old PCI-324 works with this mobo under 32-bit XP.
Has anybody tried to install PCIe-424 and PCI-324 together in one system? Separately they work, but together? May be it's not very useful but interesting. In my case new driver replaced the old one and they did not work together.
I'd appreciate any advice or help how to make PCIe-424 operational under 64-bit Windows7 without replacing mobo. MOTU keeps silence as usual, although this is their guilt without any doubt.

I know this won't help you and I am sorry but I can tell you that I'm workin' with windows 7 64 bit and I have alot of problems with my motu (Audio express).
I wrote Motu tech support but they never answered me.

I am trying to find a solution for the same problem but it seems MOTU support is ignoring the community.

I am using Win7 64bit (clean install with all updates) with PCIe-424 and 2408MK2.

When opening the audio console i always get the same error... something like "unable to locate a MOTU audio interface..."

When using the 424 console if i change the rate to 48000 i can see that the mk2 changes to. I wonder what is wrong..

Dmitdobr: It seems like MOTU may've stopped PCI-324 card compatibility back at Windows XP 32-bit… none of the more recent operating systems seem to have driver support for this card (including Windows 7… 32 or 64 bit).

Also, the PCI-324 card is pretty old. I wouldn't expect it (physically/electrically) to work in conjunction with any newer computers on the market that successfully run Windows 7 (or that you could install Windows XP on).

If you had an older computer that (physically/electrically) supported the PCI-324, I don't imagine there would've been support for a PCI (express) card…

I'm more a fan of the firewire/USB products MOTU carries, but it seems like standard card upgrades would be needed just like the computers that run them…
