Is the VCC actually running in real time? Can't see the CPU meter, it's hidden by the plugin....

How are your buffers set??

It doesn't do this on my current session if I reproduce this scenario, all smooth....

Yes, in realtime... buffer size 512 ... CPU usage is less then 5% ... just a few tracks and plugins...

What version of DP are you running? I had issues with DP 7.21 or maybe it was 7.22 with sluggish meters and missing MIDI notes. Try upgrading to 7.24 - it's free - and see if your meter issues go away. Mine certainly did.

I already have 7.24 ... that sluggish happens only when vcc mixbuss is in the front ... when it's behind everything is normal...

Sounds like you may want to report this to Slate.

definitely not for me. i'm using VCC 1.5.2 and DP7.23 on a Mac Pro 2x2.26ghz quad core xeon, 8gb memory.

i know u said that it worked fine in Logic and that the CPU was quite low, but is your oversampling cranked up for real time rendering? i don't oversample at all in real time, only offline.

Try increasing the buffer pre-load setting.
