Hi all, this is my first post here but I'm a Motu hardware long time user from Rome, Italy
(so please bear with my poor english).
I'm gussin' if anyone here has got any issues installing the new driver/firmware packge for the original Ultralite and if this upgrade it would be worth a try (any enhancements and so on)?

Re: Original Ultralite Latest driver/firmware: any issues?
I did a firmware update couple of years ago. It worked only once. Before that moment and since then, I have never been able to update the firmware of my original ultralite.
When I put the soundcard on firmware update mode by holding page and cursor when I turn on the card, as we're suppoed to do, the computer does'nt recognise my ultralite is on. So the firmware updater says that no soundcard on Firmware update mode is connected.
But it worked one day for an unknow reason and let see what happens. The update began but never ended. So, after few hours, I turn off my ultralite and turn it back on. Since then, it says my soundcard is update to 1.15 as it is supposed to be although the update process never ended.
Now my first and second inputs have lot of input gain. Even though I give zero db of gain, I still have input with a microphone. When I plug my guitar in one of thoses two inputs, I have an input distortion that I just can't get rid of cause the input gain is at the minimum level.
What should I do?
Hope that it provides you worthy informations.
