I have an Ipad that controls DP with my Fios wireless router. I have to go somewhere that has no wireless router, How do I still use the Ipad to control. Do I need to get the airport express base station to go with my Mac. Or is it even possible. TIA
Tom

If the Mac that you're running DP on has a Airport card installed or is Airport (WiFi) capable then you should be good. Just go up to the menu bar where you see the Airport status and choose "Create Network" and you'll be prompter to create a Computer-To-Computer network. You can set a password if you'd like. Once you do this, connect your iPad directly to this new network and you SHOULD be good. There's no need for going through a router. In fact, it's not so much a problem with DP Control, but with the early versions of AC-7 Pro that used DSMidiWiFi, there was a problem with latency sometimes when you went through a router and this direct Computer-To-Computer network was actually much better and responsive.

Oh... yeah, see I installed an Airport card in my old MacPro just for that reason. So yeah, I guess you'd have to bring some sort of wireless router with you that you could hardwire the Mac via ethernet to the router and then connect wirelessly to the router with the iPad so the two could communicate.
