CueMix FX and Behringer BCF2000

I want to purchase a control surface for CueMix FX, and I've read that a Behringer BCF 2000 will work in Mackie Control mode or baby HUI mode.

My question is if I can control CueMix FX with the Behringer BCF2000, even if the CueMix FX window is minimized in Windows?

Or does CueMix FX has to be the Active Window?

This thread can be closed, I already bought the Behringer BCF 2000 and the answer is YES.
