OS upgrade to run DP7

Hey all.... can someone tell me if i can upgrade my OS directly to 10.5.8 from 10.4.11? I want to upgrade to DP7 and the specs state that OS 10.5.8 is required. My Power Mac meets all other requirements. Thanks in advance, ejv

Many users have reported that DP7 runs okay on Tiger. You just ignore the pop up and continue with the install.
