Only 8 ins/outs showing up for 24 I/O

Post by zandurian »

I just bought my first intel mac (a 2008ish 2 Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3.0 model) and bough a new PCIe card to run my 24 I/O with but I can only get 8 ins and outs to show up in the audio MIDI page or cue mix console.

Any ideas?

I think there might be a MOTU setup dialog in which you need to activate the other two banks of eight...

A fresh install of DP with a pci 424 card defaults to 8 I/O. Go into the pci 424 app and
activate the record and playback channels to your needs.
