i have a track (from a monophonic moog) that is consistently flat.
is there a simple way to raise the pitch across the entire track?
i have never ventured into the pitch control territory.
any advice greatly appreciated!
(including manual page # references).
thanks!

Command-9
...and you may want to turn off Pure DSP in the Soundbite Info window.

Thank you!
One clarification if I may.
I am transposing audio (clicking off the MIDI section), and I am selecting "Transpose Audio by creating new soundbite".
My question is if it is flat do I select "Sharp" or "Flat"?
i need to adjust some # of cents higher in pitch, but i am not clear if i should select Sharp or Flat...
any guidance greatly appreciated!
thanks!

If I'm understanding you correctly, to raise a pitch you want to make it "sharper".
To lower a pitch then you'd make it "flatter".
Very basic music terminology...

This shows the use in half steps, but the principle is the same for adjusting by cents. 100 cents=half step.

Hey...thanks for the clarification.
I knew that i wanted to make it sharper, but i was unsure of the interface and what it was asking me.
You have given me the information i need to perform this operation.
Thank you!

Yes... enter how flat your selection is, and it will correct it.
Ha!
That had crossed my mind while in that window too.
