EzDrummer Pasting Issue

After I drag and drop a measure from EZD into a track, too often when I paste a file it combines with the prior one and I have to delete both measures. I can paste 20 measures for example, then one will just combine with the prior. This only happens in DP. I have tried zooming out, etc. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Also is there anyway to recall the name of a groove you put in a song, besides maybe putting the info in the tracks comment field? Thanks.

Could it be... If you are dragging the EZ MIDI file into the track editor-is this when they copy OK back to back? And perhaps, when they are overlapping you are dragging into the sequence editor? Check that out. Hope that helps.

As I remember I always put the EZ MIDI file info into the tracks comment field.

Ciao

Thanks for the reply Keith.

Nope. It's in the Track Editor. I've been Copy and Pasting/Paste Repeat, etc and it keeps doing this. It's strange that I can paste 5 times then the 6th and 7th combine. I did a paste repeat for 60 measures or so and it only combined the last couple of measures.

But visually I can then paste just 1 or a couple of measures and everything will jump back and look correct. Not always though, and correct playback isn't guaranteed.

Dragging measures in can do it also, if instead of pasting I just keep dragging the measure in. I don't understand it. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't effect the MIDI track, but it's a hit or miss when they combine if they play back ok.
