2009 Nehalem MacPro's are the deals a good value?

I am contemplating upgrading to a newer MacPro,I see some deals on 2009 Nehalem Mac Pro's, are there any legitimate reasons too avoid this vintage and get the newer 2010 models?
besides the Mac's being cheaper ,Ram seems more reasonable as well.
what is the downside to this approach,I assume they will go 64 bit.
Is there anything that makes the 2010 models that much more worthwhile?
Thanks
KG

I'd say that unless a six core cpu is important then stick with a 2009 vintage machine. You're in NYC - B&H has a good deal on a single quad core 2.66 GHz Mac Pro for $1900 with free shipping. That alone would be an incentive especially with the astronomical tax rates in NYC. Both vintage machines are 64 bit with OSX capable of running in either 32 or 64 bit kernel. And both vintage machines have the same amount of ram slots for the same amount of ram - 32 gig for the single cpu and 64 gig for the dual cpu boxes. The ram buss speeds on the newer machines are faster in some cases but not by enough to make any real difference (1066 vs 1333 MHZ I believe). The new machines do have the Airport card built-in though.
