The other sounds load with no prpoblems. Anything from DVD2-piano's will crash MachFive2. MOTU tech support was not reachable by phone. I think something nust be wrong with the UFS file or maybe the disk is bad. I am using WinXP x86 if it matters.

I'm not on a PC but is there a disk utility you can run to test the DVD disk? Also, so you have another VI player (UVI, etc.) you can try to load the file on to?
Have you copied the UFS to your HD? Sounds like a simple question, but you never know...
Either a Techlink or call to MOTU is certainly in order in any event. Good luck.

Is disk streaming turned off? If so, MachFive is probably just choking on trying to load an 8 GB preset (since MachFive isn't 64-bit).

WinXP x86 - hw much ram do you have in the machine? I remember having alot of issues with XP due to not having enough memory, perhaps this is the issue.
