Would dae mode do what you want? As I understand it that would allow DP to be used as a front end for PT - I've not tried it on my cousin's PT system which is my PT access. I do believe there's a particular order for installation of the programs for this to work - PT installed and updated first and THEN DP installed. If done the other way around DP has to be re-installed after PT is installed.cchord59 wrote:I've just added Pro tools HD to the studio. I sometimes have DP - using my Traveler - and PT - using my MBox 2 at the same time. They are synced by MIDI clock between the 2 hardware units. I tend to monitor out of the MOTU, and have the MBox connected to CueMix via spdif.
I can either do this on one computer, or my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro together

Did you do the install like I mentioned: install PT & latest updates and then install DP? That's the order. You may want to get a hold of tripit on here as he is running both systems; he might be able to help.cchord59 wrote:

I know it says for PT8.0.3 but I think this page was written before PT8.0.4
