Well.. 896mk3 vs Traveler mk3

So, my first post here, and i would like to greet everyone here!
I need an audio interface with AES/EBU out, cause iwant to connect it to my Genelec monitors via AES/EBU (i can do that, rright?)
But i cant really decide what to buy - Traveler mk3 or 896mk3. The price difference is not that huge, 896 got more preamps, Traveler has MIDI in/out. Dont really need any of those, actually. But.. seen a thread about Traveler's noise while using phantom power.
Actually, i will only need inputs for an electric guitar (high output there), Vocal mic, bass guitar and keys (well, guess MIDI in will be kinda nice, but can manage without it).
Both can do what i need, but the question is IF they are, lets say, same, just with different amount of preamped inputs? The problem with phantom power on Traveler (896 is ok afaik) is strange if both cards are the same.
Thanks alot!
P.S.
yeah, ive seatched the web and theres actually no answer to my question. Ive found just one post, that stated that 828, 896 and Traveler share preamps and converters. But equal converters doesnt mean they are same.
