upgrade to 10.6 if 10.5.8 working well??

Now that SL has had it's fourth update, I'm thinking more about taking the plunge. That's what I usually do...wait 6-9 months or so after an OS release.

If I was having problems, I'd be quick to try 10.6 to see if that provided improvements, but currently I have zero problems with my setup now using 10.5.8.
All of my hardware and software and VIs work great.
DP rocks, as usual.

So I'm searching for opinions here---is 'better' the enemy of 'good'?
Is DP performance even better in SL than in 10.5.8?

My gut feeling is to not upgrade until some software or VI that I use/want
requires 10.6.

Thanks,
Charles

You know, having zero problems is a good thing. It's so good that I would be reluctant to change anything.

If you wanted to try out Snow Leopard, it might be safer to install it on a separate drive and then experiment a little with how your VIs and plugins get along, but for now I would leave your current setup intact.

Zero problems. Nice!! :P
