Hello,

I've experimented a weird mixer freeze on DP 7.12. Seems to be reproducible, when copy-dragging a plugin insert from one track to another. I can still play audio, etc, but the faders or mixer window controls don't respond. I need to restart DP.

Doesn't seem to happen on 7.11, I've gone back to 7.11. Any ideas?



My configuration is:

Power Mac G5, 2x2 GHz (not the dual-core version), 4 GB memory
2xUAD-1 cards, UAD software 5.6
Powercore Compact, latest software
Mac OS X 10.5.8, all the security updates installed
Elemental Audio plugins
Metric Halo ULN-2 interface
Tascam US-2400 control surface

I don't have that problem at all and I do it all the time using 7.12. Are you doing that during play?

It did happen to me once the other day, I had to restart DP also... will DP work just fine someday?? jeeeez

What the heck is that suppose to mean? DP works fine now! If you can't explain what your problems are, you should refrain from making NEGATIVE comments.

Sorry for not answering before, I've been pretty busy.

It wasn't during play, it was stopped all the times I tried. And it seems I could reproduce it more than once. Finally I've gone back to 7.11 and it works fine, I was unable to reproduce it under 7.11.

Maybe there's something weird in my setup? But I can't imagine what it could be.

Seems I can't reproduce it on 7.20. Whatever it was, seems to be fixed.
