cuemix uses alot of resources in windows 7

hi, I have a ultralite hybrid which I use through usb with the latest drivers in windows 7 64. It works quit good but I notice the cuemix application uses very much resources (20% cpu which is alot considering the fact that I have a fast i5 processor and for instance ableton live with lots of plugins loaded just uses 3%). Not a show stopper but I'm just curious what causes this big system load. Any thoughts? greetings erik

I've noticed that the analysis windows (oscilloscope, spectral analysis, etc.) can be a bit CPU-intensive sometimes. That may have something to do with how much processing the GPU is doing when those windows are open. I'd assume that since you have a recent computer, you're also using a relatively new graphics card. It's worth checking for driver or firmware updates for the card that might improve performance.
