rewiring stereo ins or mono?
I am going to be doing my music room over soon. I am going to rearrange things, make some new furniture and rewire every thing. I have much of my synthesizers coming in to the mixing board in stereo. Often I like to record a mono track so that I can control the placement of the instruments in the mix. I am thinking of just bringing every thing in to the mixer in mono when I rewire. How many of you do this and is it working for you? Do you think this is a good or a bad idea?
