Looking for a new Laptop

Anyone out there using a laptop that they would recommend for a daw?
The sound card I am using currently is a motu 8 pre.

I understand that the firewire port on laptops are on their way out. I also understand that I could use an express card but that the controller chipset would need to be intel based. Anyone know of any laptops that would fit the bill or any other options to interface firewire to a laptop ie: perhaps a firewire to usb adapter?
