HELP! Ultralite 1 no longer works after driver update
Posted: Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:32 am
Hi everyone,
My first post here.
I have an Ultralite 1.0. I recently thought it might be a good idea to update the drivers so I was able to update the firmware from 1.0 to 1.15. That version now shows on the LCD of the Ultralite at startup.
My problem is that the Ultralite no longer works. Whenever I go to open Sonar I get the error message "There are no audio devices for the current driver model on your system. Please go to Options/audio to choose a different diver mode"l. Similar messages appear with Reason, Ableton Live etc, so somehow I've mucked up the drivers. I just want to revert to the way it was which worked fine but I can't wok out how.
In the 'general' tab of the Motu Ultralite setup the driver number is 3.6.7.3.
The manual says I can restore the factory defaults of the Ulralite b pressing the 'value' button, but when I do nothing happens.
Hoping someone can help.
System details are:
Carllion laptop
Windows XP Home, SP2
Intel core 2 CPU
T7600@2.33GHz
977Mhz, 2.00 GB of RAM
Thanks
Andrew
