Tempo change question

I have audio and MIDI tracks in my song. I am trying to change the tempo( a ritard) for 5-6 measures. My tempo source is conductor track. I have correctly drawn the tempo change curve in the graphic editor. However on play back the tempo change applies to the MIDI tracks correctly but not to the audio tracks.

I have tried the following without any luck:
a.locking the tracks
b.deselecting "Snap to grid"
c. Tempo Slider as my tempo source

Any suggestions. Thanks

Did you record the audio tracks inside DP?
Did you use the same tempo for the MIDI and audio when recording (in general)?
If so, you can easily tell DP to make the audio follow whatever the Conductor track does, just like MIDI... the only caveat is don't overdo it because the audio is actually being processed and has its limits on how far you can mess with it before you ruin it.

Having said that, select you audio tracks and go to:
Audio>Adjust SoundBites to Sequence Tempo command.

If the audio came from somewhere else but matched the MIDI perfectly (before the ritardando), you can Copy the Conductor Track tempo in the Sounbite first and they apply the other command (they are next to each other).

If I may, can I ask another question?
In an audio book, I saw the term "mult". What does that mean? I am sorry I don't have the context in which the word was used.

A mult is just multiple jacks hooked together like a multiple Y connector. The jacks are tied together passively so you use them to split an output to multiple inputs and not the other way around. IOW, look at it as a splitter and not a mixer.
