Windows 7 32-bit, 828 (Original), No Audio Devices Installed

I am working with a fresh Windows 7 32-bit installation. I disabled UAC and installed the drivers (Version 3.7.37320) I downloaded from MOTU's web site. Yes, I installed them as Administrator. 
I plugged the 828 in afterwards and 7 installed the drivers from Windows Update.
The drivers seem to have installed just fine. Device manager shows MOTU Audio, MOTU Audio MIDI, and MOTU Audio Wave. Windows 7 says there are no audio devices installed. It shows MOTU Audio in Devices and Printers under "Unspecified", but not MIDI for Wave.
Any tips?
