I have to insert a pan to center on 80 odd channels..
I used the view filter to remove the surround info I didnt want - that was easy..
I just want to insert a pan at center position on all channels as I accidentally seemed to have panned some left and right when in stop in ealier- and didnt notice til later -
I suppose I could use snapshot - in the mixer... but the choices are active versus all - and I dont really want to wade thru so much - all I really want to use are pan - a send b send c send d send
not interested in send mutes - eq by passes blah,,
any suggestions?

You can use temporary group to center all your pan.
In the mini menu from the group window, select "set temporary group"
Check the pan selection
In the mixer track selection list, chose all the tracks you want the pan to change.
Now, press W on keyboard and grap one of the pan button, go extrem left or right. Then depress W and press W again and double click on one pan button. All the track should be at center.

Cool!
I love these temporary groups. I have set min with the complete list.
So W is for grouping visible tracks and T grouping selected tracks.
One more thing, if you double tap T or W it stay active untill you press one more time the key stroke.

Temporary group rules!!!
Whenever I want to copy something to several tracks at once:
You copy the data ( let say a soundbite )
In the track overview you select all your destination tracks
Hit OPT-CMD-V ( shortcut for paste multiple int he edit menu )
It'll copy to all tracks in one steps.
