mute button ?

Hello All !
First of all , I know how to associate a MIDI hardware slider to the DP mixer volumes on each tracks .
Now , I tought I could do the same with the mute button but it does not seem to be the same .
Is there a way to do that ?
I got the Korg nano control and would like to use those buttons to mute tracks !!!!
