Master CD burning in DP 7.1

I have not checked it yet, but does burning a cd directly from DP 7.1 work ok. If I record an 80 minute audio, can it be edited and split into separate tracks in DP and have that burned as a master cd? (Been away for a while. Apologies if this has already been addressed. Manual not handy at the moment.) Any help appreciated. I have been using the old TC program SparkME for this task. It would even open Toast automatically. But lately Toast seems to have a lot of problem. TIA

Robin Bigwood explains here. i've done it in 7.02, I'm assuming it works in 7.1

Wow! Thanks. Just what I was looking for. More complex than SparkME, but at least an option.

I had to mess with it a little as there are a few quirks (can't remember them off the bat) but I was able to make DP burn two 70-minute CDs from a single, long recording and used markers as tracks. I believe you have to have markers at the beginning and the end of the sequence (chunk) for it to work, but it seems to work fine.
