The resizable counter is already implemented in the released version, but of course we want to hear more, especially a release date!

If NAMM opens today, how did you see this on Wednesday? Nothing on the MOTU site on this as of this writing!

So I just ordered my DP7 upgrade online. I wonder if 7.1 will be what's delivered to my door...

I ordered DP7 last week and received 7.02 today in the mail.

Anyone try to call customer service to ask?

Yes, I just got off the phone with MOTU. I was told since mine is shipping out tomorrow, it will probably be 7.02 delivered as they're not quite ready to officially roll out 7.1. I got the feeling it would be coming fairly soon, though.

Kelly from motu-mac posted this:

Not sure if Motu have posted this to the website yet, but saw the dp
7.1 demo this morning, and thought I'd post my (unedited, probably
barely legible) notes:

Dp7.1 -
Used a Justin timberlake production to demo something, not sure what...

Counter window can show markers , click on that brings up marker list
big

Trackfolders have mini view of contents when minimized, in tl track

Lyrics window and auto-flow into quickscribe

Auto-save, as a copy or in place

Adding fades batch for selected edits

Trim tool for automation?

Vrack shows up in mixer

Effect chain presets

Tuner plugin (is this new?)

Also demoed "ZBox", but I failed to see how it is anything but a DI
box...

Seven point one?!! I haven't even got 7.0 yet.
Wait, did somebody say auto-save? Roto rave? (in the voice of Scooby Doo)

No. I just copy and pasted from motu-mac.

Auto-save is the stunner. Let's hope they've figured out a way to speed up the saves and/or make it so operations don't grind to a halt during saves.

Thanks, Dix!

Effect Chain preset, Automation Trim Tool, Tuner and Auto Save all sound great!

Hope to hear some first hand impressions soon! No one at NAMM brought their iPhones so they can post here while at the restroom or something? ;-)
