New iPerformer's Dark Mod for DP7!!

Post by iPerformer »

Hi guys!!

I've decided to set up a Website with all my DP 6.x and DP7.x Mods.
For those that are using my Mods it would be nice if you could visit and register and also download all new updates .
These updates are available for free (although any donations will be gratefully accepted).
New updates have some graphic maintenance and improvements and there are compatible with newest versions of DP.
There is also a new Mod which is my favorite: Dark Mod 7.x
So feel free to visit any time.
Any comments here or there are always very welcome.
I have to thanks James and all of you and wish you happy Holidays too.

EDITED:

Just wanted to let you guys know that all my Mods for DP6.x and DP7.x have now installers that will do the whole installing job for you!
It took a lot of work and patience but now they are ready to go.
For the very first time you don't have to be worried about installing any of iP's Mods. The installers will do it perfectly well, avoiding any manual mistake on the installation that could lead to end with a corrupted copy of DP.
On Top of that, this new installers can be applied even if you already had installed another iPerformer's Mod... and more than that...they can be applied also if you had installed another Dood's Mods!
Just double click and let the installer do the job. It will check your copy of DP and prepare it for the new mod. No need of a fresh install of DP before applying the mod, the installer will clean first and then install.
As MOTU's DP updaters install new copies of DP you will need to choose a Mod installer that matches your version of DP. ie. DP 7.02 --> matches DarkMod 7.02 installer.
Please feel free to download any installer you want. Even if you already have a mod installed, I think it could be very handy to have an installer just in case.
For more detailed information ,please visit my Mod's website:

NOTE: For the ones that already have registered as iP Mods users. Just do me a favor. I know you have already registered as a user but I had some issues with my server and lost some info. Please if you don't mind registering again it will be great. On top of that I modified the user form so I could know which mods you are using.
Thanks again.

Cheers.

Great work IP! I still think that you should set up a Pay Pal link for those of us who would like to support your efforts! I for one, would be throwing some money your way!

Keep up the great work!

I've never tried any of these mods, but I applaud the effort.

Why doesn't MOTU just offer us frickin' skins already! Doesn't seem like it would be particularly hard for them to do, and it would be a lot more FUN!

Hi,

Thanks! I wasn't aware of mods for DP. I'll see how they work out for me. If they can increase the contrast, or make things clearer - in addition to being interesting looking - they might be just what I need.

The following is a bit OT, please forgive me if these are stupid questions.

Are there any mods that increase the size of the fonts on the windows? I know I can get the fonts to 'grow' if I zoom the tracks window. But the average font is too small for me, and I'd prefer not to change the screen resolution. I have a similar problem with many of the buttons. They're just a little hard to find their active area on the first try. Who want's to quadruple click on anything?

If there aren't any mods available, do you know how I can do this myself? I wish many programs would learn a lesson from the internet, where most of the fonts are able to be made larger or smaller. Wish the same was true of all buttons, scroll bars, arrows, etc. I use zoom in Universal Access a lot, but a general preference setting would be nice.

Thanks - TD

Hey TD-
There is nothing stupid about your question.
Basically I guess you could change your font type in the Defaul_Style.xml file inside DP, but I don't think you could get the size bigger than what already is, because it won't fit into the boxes are made for them and they won't display correctly.
Anyway let me do some tests and I'll post back in few days.
Cheers.
