Altiverb forces DP 7.02 to quit

i did a fresh install of 10.4.11 (on G5 dual 2ghz), installed altiverb and all my other plugins. now testing dp with a project with 24 to 26 audiotracks, altiverb forces DP to quit unexpectedley. anyone simliar problem?

No. In fact I just had a project in 7.02 with about 30 audio tracks and 5 instantiations of Altiverb (plus a whole bunch of other plugs) and had no troubles at all. I am, however on an Intel mac Pro and OS 10.6.2, FWIW.

I have not had that problem on my G4 iMac. The only plug-in that I have had crash a session on DP 7.02 so far is AmpliTube X-GEAR, but it is a seriously hoggish plug-in and I had trouble with it in version 6 as well.

Alti and 7.02 is smooth sailin for me too (also on intel and 10.6).

So far no PPC users have spoken, let alone PPC/Tiger/DP7.02 users.

ummmm I think mhschmieder is on 10.4.11 and 7.02 with a G4 iMac, unless I misread.

No problem on my G5 2 X 2,3 Ghz under 10.4.11. but I work with D.P. 7.01 _
EDIT: with 6.3.5. version of Altiverb .

What version of Altiverb? Version numbers always help.
